Seriously though, does anyone ever carry that thing around in the woods?

fishinwrench, nice handle by the way, I have carried it - two days straight - lots of miles on foot - stop and go. Emphasize carried it, because I've slinged it too, but didn't use the sling much, was just easier to carry. For me, it wasn't a bother, but when I'm carrying a rifle I'm on a mission, so I don't think about it. If I was trekking that would be a different story, but how many are actually packing in on foot somewhere and carrying it in addition to a pack and shelter? I didn't have a barrel band either and stayed on target. In any case, I hear you, we hear you. And for the record, the table, chair, drink holder and drawer for pellets is gonna push the MSRP up above $300  ~JB
