Any tunes for the M3 Compact .22? Want to tune for JSB 18.13gr.

Thanks!

Hey everyone,

I am new here. I just received my M3, .25, 600mm barrel. For now I plan on shooting the FX Hybrid slugs. I assume that the hybrid means it is a little like a pellet and a little like a slug, and it is not very heavy for a slug. So my question is this; for these hybrid slugs should I have barrel turned to the pellet transfer port or the slug transfer port?

It depends on your tune and desired speed. Either port will work. The slug side of the transfer port will allow more air to pass through which will help increase the speed. Hybrids are fairly light and I have had decent results with them at lower speeds. Assuming the gun has the stock tune, try the hybrids "as is" and see how they group. You can then test the slug side of the port and compare. maybe you'll get lucky and not have to retune the gun. I usually just run the slug side of the transfer port.

Impact M3 Compact .22.

Got a pretty good tune I think. I shot over the Chrony in my shop at 20 yards and got one small hole (pellet on pellet pretty much). I still have to shoot at longer range to see how the accuracy holds at distance. The below is the information when shooting a full magazine of 28 rounds. I am also not sure how efficient it is. What is the best efficiency you see? I am getting 1.78 bar per shot with the 300 cc tank.

JSB 18.13gr

Average Speed: 943 fps

Extreme Spread: 9 fps

Standard Deviation: 2.43 fps

First Regulator: 150 Bar

Second Regulator: 110 Bar

Macro: 8

Micro: 3

Valve: 3 Lines fully exposed

I really struggled to get my M3 .25 dialed in. Not had much luck with slugs but a have a great tune for pellets.

M3 .25, 700MM barrel with slug pin probe fitted.

Jsb MK2 34gn pellets. My gun likes the mk2 around the 920 fps.

slug pin probe tune
Reg 1 180
Reg 2 150
Macro 8
Micro just passed 4
Valve 11.59mm

are you using the heavy liner or the standard? Also, which slugs have you tried and are you running the slug power kit, if you don't mind?

I've been following and watching with my fingers crossed to see more .30 tunes. 😉

Just doesn't seem to be a popular cal here.

I'm running with a 600mm barrel (.30). Originally it was an M3 Sniper in .22. However, I wanted a .30 for chucks and yotes for around the farms that bring me in to remove nuisance pests for.

I've watched .68 whiskeys videos. Did pick up some minor info. However, there's got to be other sources for tuning numbers?

I'm looking for more fps and fpe.

My current tune sending 44.75 Hybrid Slugs is averaging 870 fps. When I skip my daily doses of caffeine, I'm getting 5 shot groups thumb nail sized or slightly smaller at 55yds.

This is my first PCP rifle. Coming over from 20+ years of Law Enforcement, K9 and department gunsmithing. I like to tinker and push the limits. 😊

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks folks!
