Quite a variety of other interests here.  I spend a lot of time just fiddling around.

Radio Controlled models, especially jets. Show your wives if they dont like your gun collection. Tell them that guns can't crash and burn each time you use them

    Archery, Traditional (Tomahawk SS Diamond R/D 64” longbow & vintage Bear Grizzly 55 & 45lbs) & compound 70lbs

I wish my longbow was only 45lbs as 55 isn’t great for targets for me.

Aquariums. I’ve been told once you get a saltwater set up right there’s hardly any maintenance compared to freshwater.

I'm 77, and have a LOT of hobbies. Besides reading 2 books a week (mainly historical fiction), I collect stuff. My main collecting is linked to 3-D photography…3-D slides taken of everyday family life during the 1950s (5,000 and counting), View-Master reels 1939-1970, stereo view cards 1890s-1930s, and a few 3-D comic books. Also have small collections of sand pails 1930s-1950s, cap guns 1940-50s, Kodak cameras 1930s, Little LuLu comics from the '50s, and cane-strip fishing poles (I do not fish). Recently, soda bottle caps pre-1960. Shooting sports: Skeet, trap (Browning o/u 12 ga., Beretta 20 ga.), handguns (mostly S&W), archery (target recurve bows 1950s-1970), and air guns. Also have a modest collection of both Lionel and American Flyer electric trains (1946-54) and operating layouts for both.

To pass the time I belong to discussion forums, such as this one, for archery, guns, various 3-D related items, bottle caps, electric trains, and even one for Subaru Outback owners (I'm one of the few Trump voters/NRA members who own one 😉).

‘I am a board member of the German Gun Collectors Association and have been collecting and shooting Pre War German sporting guns that our GI’s brought back from Germany after liberating the towns of their weapons. The German gun makers were so far ahead of everyone else in the development of weapons in the early 1900’s and produced the most artfully made guns in lots of metric calibers which only a handful are being made today. I like finding some special gun and restoring it back to close to new condition and making the cartridges and bullets to get them shooting again. Over the years I have made muzzleloaders and really enjoyed the sport with some good friends but now have got the bug for the new PCP Airguns and now own a AF Condor and lately I bought a FX Crown. I never had a special car to work on and hot rod or anything and vowed I would someday restore a classic. Well I turned 66 this year and I bought a 61 Triumph TR3 in need of a little TLC. I have no shortage of play things in my retirement, just time.
