Back at it again building my second set of four chairs for the wife. She gave two of the original set away to a good friend for her birthday, and for Christmas two months ago all she wanted from me was to build her another set of four. Building and working with my hands is a hobby of mine, but in all honesty this is the last time for these.

Right now I just enjoy being a husband to my beautiful wife and a father to our two daughters. One is about to turn two years old the other is only three months old. Can’t wait until they get a little older so we can do more things together.

When I can get away I like to pheasant and quail hunt, snowmobiling and fishing. Especially Alaskan salmon fishing

S&R makes you a hero, not a hobbyist. Thank you for being there for those in need.

SAR callout today.  Elderly lady missing, land, bank and water searches (cant say more than that at the mo.)

Aside from doing something genuinely important, it's very enjoyable. Got a nice early season sun tan too.

Hunting, pistol shooting, fly fishing and fly tying, kayaking and running.  Had to give up mountain biking due to knee issues. Lately it's hard to devote time to those without thinking of trigger time on an air rifle.

My winter hobbies are snowmobiling.   I love going fast and climbing mountains.  For summer, I get to bring the airguns with me.  In between, I built a 1965 427 Shelby Cobra from the ground up using all used parts from the junk yard.  All I had was the body and a windshield.  Mind you, I am not a mechanic lol.  As everyone else here, our better half thinks we are crazy.  I am beginning to think she is right LOL.

Yamaha 1050cc three cylinder turbo 310 horsepower.

Aside from airguns I also love driving. I usually bring my beagle along and to keep him behave I set up a dog car seat for him. I feel like it somehow helps me relieve the stress from work.

Mountain biking kayaking fishing hunting with bow or airguns. I use to Target practice with airguns all the time with my Step Son and he pasted away 1/16/2018 at 51 and that took a lot out of my sails so to speak now just use the air rifle to hunt squirrel during the season and Target shoot just to keep it in tune and zeroed.

Everything changed for me 5 years ago in August.  Loved and rode high performance motorcycles for 40 years without a scratch until my accident on the way to the lake one weekend.  They got me to the trauma table with 15 minutes to spare, spleen bleeding me out.  6 major surgeries later, I don't ride any longer, so I can't list it as a hobby.  Over the years, bass fishing, archery including 3D tournament shooting for 2 different manufacturers and bowhunting with my son.  All this changed with the accident.  Now I kayak fish at the lake with my Hobie 14' pro angler, set up like a bass boat with electric kayak motor, fishfinders, the whole works!  My dogs are my main love, as we've had Airedales for about 17 years now, and my current male, Cody dawg, is my best buddy in the world.  He's had a hard life, coming from a breeder that ought to be put in the ground, and I call him my $15,000 dog.  His hips are failing now and he's on practically as many meds as I am, but he's my best friend, and we'll make the rest of his life as good as possible.  Reading is now my "go to" activity, and have almost 900 books on my kindle.  Also like to play video games on my XBox, have been playing Diablo since it came out years ago.
