filled my tank no problem till done.turned off compressor and looked at air guage.the guage was not showing anything,nothing not even zero.so I let machine cool for 20minute and replaced air guage.so hooked it back up and would only go to 1200psi will not pump any higher than that.i'm in contact with company now.the airguage that was on there had no fluid in it to dampen vibration.you might want to check yours.how in the hell can changing a airguage cause the compressor to quit pumping hpa? will let you know what company does to resolve problem.this was delivered july6,17 not even 3hrs use out of it.

Nothing obvious like hearing air escaping?
Is there a bleed valve for water, if you start compressor and open it can you hear air escaping?

no air escaping.yes if you open bleeder valve air that did build up would escape.just turn off comp.and it holds at 1200psi,however will not exceed that pressure.i even opened tank and built pressure to 4400psi and no air leaks thru system.every guage reads the same.something is wrong.the big thing is now is what company wants to do to fix the problem.

If I understand you correctly your getting 1200psi, then sounds like you lost the last stage of the compressor. Could be something as simple as the check valve. good luck with it. Keep us posted on how the company stands behind their product. sorry to hear your having issues.

yes I am having trouble with company.when you say it is broke it does nothing,they ask what is broke?
when you say the compressor will not pump past 1200psi,they ask how I know the the guage is not working right.the air guage on tank does not move,and fill hose with bleeder valve and airguage says the same thing.I think the final stage in compressor is not working.this should be covered by company on compressor just 2 mounths old,

I have an Omega Super Charger which is down at AoA right now being worked on. It wasn't right from the first day I used it. Like yours, it would go to a certain pressure and then the pressure would stop rising. I played around and played around with it and one day I just shut it off at whatever pressure it was at and let it sit there for 4 or 5 hours and came back and turned it on again and it took off like a bat outta hades. Never could figure out what was wrong with it and neither could Todd at AoA. I didn't want to send it back to AoA and wait forever for it to get fixed so I used it like it was for a few months and then broke down and sent it in. IDK, but the method I used may work on yours, then it may not ... sometimes I would have to leave pressure on it for up to 10 hours before it would build pressure again, but it never failed to fill up my tank, just took forever to do it. You might try this method if it works and in the meantime try and find someone who will fix the darn thing.

that sux your put in that spot,, yes its a lower costing compressor ,but i hear they work ok ,, hope you dont have to send it out,the reviews i have read were posotive regarding customer support ,,,good luck ,pat

well the company is trying to send me a video of how to disassemble compressor in chinees, now the problem is my computer will not allow video,safe guard will not let it download.so still looking for solution.

Sorry after looking at this video ( I have another somehwre) from their web site, rebuilding a marauder is eaiser, maybe.
Anyway if you just want to see how little a booster needs inside check out the last video here:

They also have a video on how to use one source for your airtank ( say nitrogen or helium , anything SAFE ) and your shop compressor for the needed drive pressure. Doesn't help me but might be nice for someone in the tropics or wanting to play with the Joys of Helium.

I have this same compressor and I've also had problems with it. It won't fill past 3900 psi. I don't loose compression, instead the burst disk fails every time. The distributor was good to communicate with me and sent me a ton of replacement burst disks, but the problem was never solved. I know that's no help to you but I thought I'd help warn people about the risk of trying to save money on one of these Chinese compressors.

the company wanted me to find someone qualified to look at it,so I did and they are running into same problem I had.hard to communicate.they said they would look at it but no promises they can fix.by next week i'll expect a answere from them and go from there.thats where were at now.keep you posted.

well the compressor repairman said he could not repair without plans of how it was put together.i notified dealer what was said and asked for a working compressor or my money back.was told there were none in usa wearehouse at present but give them a few more days and they will take care of it.will keep you posted on final outcome.

I just received my yong heng unit and I have tried to find the correct procedure for filling my tank but have not had any luck,when I tried I blew the burst disk the first time,and this might sound like a dumb question but do I open the valve on the tank? And if so at what point,do I open the main valve or the bleeder the instructions were no help

These are general instructions for filling a tank, it is what i do when using my Daystate 2 compressor.
I think they will help you, but i don't have or have ever seen a yong heng compressor
Yes you open the valve to allow air to flow from the compressor into the tank.
Make sure your drain petcocks on the compressor are closed.
Attach the air hose from the compressor to the tank to be filled.
Slowly open the valve on the Tank that you are filling, I open this valve all the way. if you have a pressure gauge on the compressor you will see it go up to what ever pressure is currently in the tank.
I then listen to make sure i don't hear any air escaping, indicating a leak.
I then start the compressor and watch the pressure gauge start to rise.
When i have reached the desired pressure ( i have an auto shut off, based on the pressure that i set) i turn the compressor off.
Then Close the valve on the tank that you filled so you don't lose the air that you just pumped into it.
Open and bleed valve/petcocks on the compressor to relieve the pressure on the fill hose.
Then you can remove the fill hose from the tank.
(While filling: Follow any instructions specific to your compressor on bleeding air/water from the filter on the compressor periodically while the compressor is filling your tank, it is normally based on minutes running by opening the bleed-valve on the compressor for a second or two.,

here is what I do: turn on water pump/open bleeder valve/connect machine hose to tank,open tank valve to allow some air to bleed very slow/now start compressor and close bleeder valve then open tank valve full.
when tank is full open machine bleeder /turn off compressor/close tank valve /now open bleeder valve when air flow stops disconnect hose from tank.now I let water pump run awhile to cool compressor.hope this helps

The bottom line was I'd have to send the unit to China, even though it was shipped to me from California. After inquiring about shipping, it would have cost as much as I paid for the compressor to ship it back. Needless to say, I can't afford that. Hope all of you don't have any issues with your purchase.
