The power switch on my Yong Heng decided to self destruct
In removing it 3 of the 4 wires did not stay attached to the switch
I have a new DPST (Double Pole Single Throw) switch on the way but have a question about hook up
Wire colors are BLACK, WHITE, RED, BLUE
I've verified that BLACK & WHITE are the hot & neutral from the power chord & connect to the line side of the switch
RED & BLUE connect to the load side
Does it make a difference where the RED & BLUE connect on the load side of the switch?
(RED to BLACK/ BLUE to WHITE) or (RED to WHITE/ BLUE to BLACK)
If I connect RED & BLUE incorrectly will the compressor run in reverse?
I think not, but would like a bit of reassurance.
Thanks
Ed
