Yong Heng Compressor Review+Setup

I bought one of these {110} and set it up on a cart with a 5 gallon water tank underneath . I use it to fill my guns only , it works great takes about 1-2 minutes to do a 300cc 250 bar fill . I don't have a air tank right now but my 100 yard range is just out the back door...LOL thats what is good about living out in the middle of nowhere..

What are you guys seeing for a normal high temp on the YH compressor, or should I say, acceptable high temperature? Do your stainless pipes off the HP head get really hot? Like burn you if you touch them hot yet the water block temp is only 48C

Just filling my flashpup it read 50 c when it reached 200 bar and shut off, celsius just dos'nt stick in my head, about the only metric thing I can relate is the meter and that took decades.lol. I had put one of those [ Blue Ice] blocks in the bucket of water. I got burned pretty good.I got mine set-up under my workbench so it's a little awkward fiddleing with it. I was wondering if there might be some insulating sheath to put around it. Or a (fireproof) guard ?

Need to purchase a compressor as l can’t get 4500 psi air within 100 miles of my location. Have read that it is better to get the non-adjustable shut off in case the gauges are off. My question is: Would it be better to order the 220 model and just disconnect the auto shutoff wiring than ordering the 110 model? I am reading that the 220 model is a little more heavy duty. Also, is everyone adding the dessicant filter tube as a precaution? Don’t plan on buying any carbon fiber tanks. Just planning only filling my FX Dreamline as needed. I am a newbie and l appreciate your advice. Thanks

Mine broke the top off the second stage piston this week. So far I get about a year or so service before needing to dive into it and fix it. This is the second time this failure has happen to me. Takes me about 10-15 minutes to change out the piston and rod assembly once parts show up.

What were your maximum run times for the YH compressor? What were your maximum temps on the units temp gauge?

PLEASE ASSIST!!

My Yong Heng model YH-QB01 arrived today, but some of the parts mentioned in the manual, re: operation procedure, are not identified anywhere in the manual.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could post clear views of that model (or similar), with the following parts clearly labeled:

Condensate drain screw (same as condensate drain valve?)

Charging valve (same as air charging valve?)

Bleed valve

Exhaust valve

Once I know where these parts are located, I can proceed - until then, I'm stumped!

Many thanks!

Mike

You bleed moisture from the low pressure and high pressure release valves on each side. More condensation typically comes out of the low side from what I am told.
