yong heng compressor may be better than you imagine ..

I have my YH for about 1 year and a half long enough to realize the problems that this compressor has but we are only costing $ 250, well let's get down to business I started manufacturing a structure where I installed the compressor together with a radiator and an electric motor to cooling it was like this for a couple of months until this started to get too hot due to the high revolutions at which the compressor rotates around 2800rpm according to the manufacturer. This is what causes most failures in this compressor so I started looking for ways to fix this the solution was to remove the winding and the part that is on the shaft I do not remember the name disassemble the crankshaft until I only had the shaft in my hands the shaft was machined to a diameter of 5/8 to install a 6 pulley "together with a 3/4 hp motor at 120v so I managed to lower the RPM to approximately 1000 with this I totally change the operation the cooling is more efficient and the whole system compression rema ins frozen although the filling of weapons and tanks is slower that is not a problem since in my opinion you have more advantages I can fill my tanks without problems and without interruptions due to heating since for 80min of operation the compressor never exceeded 37 degrees Celsius it is worth mentioning that there are no large quantities of refrigerant approximately 2 liters at room temperature. Also, add some time before starting all these modifications, a copper coil to cool the air from the first to the second stage, with which it manages to condense a large amount of so much water that in the small outlet filter there are hardly any traces of humidity so far it works quite well maybe in the future I will add more accessories such as a digital manometer that controls the filling pressure and turns off the engine at the appropriate pressure ...

by the way in the video it seems a little noisy but in reality it is not at all perhaps the microphone of my Smartiphone is somewhat sensitive in reality the compressor is not louder than a blender my wife is very happy about that 😄

great thinking keep us posted on the longevity i have a omega supercharger well its back in for repairs first one had 6 hours and blew up so was replaced with a different one with 4 hours on it. after 4 hours the one piston blew a seal so that's crazy, so got the one piston filling up with a different check valve so you can run on a single piston till i could get it shipped out for repairs as it costs 230 to ship it so that's twice iv shipped it out. waiting for parts to get it up and running at the service guys house . hope it holds up this time

It must be terrible and even more so when it is not a cheap compressor like the omega in all this time, the only problem that the YH gave me was overheating, it never did anything strange, I hope your case is resolved, friend.

Absolutely amazing, thank you for sharing this. It sounds extremely quiet especially if we can hear the birds and children in the background over the compressor and you're standing right over it. Really amazing work, an exceptional idea, and very well done! I like it very much and would never have even thought of it. Thank you for sharing!
