I am going to buy one of these compressors, wanted some opinions of you guys that have tried them.

There is the $200 range, I notice they don't say Yong Heng on the side. Are these the same thing? Do they come with the same accessories?

What about the one that says 6,000 PSI?

I can't find any reviews on this one. Thanks

My Yong Heng resembles the first one but a few minor differences. The second one resembles a Tuxing I believe but I’m not 100%. My Yong Heng has worked great so far. I keep my sink or a bucket full of ice water while using it and I use royal purple synthetic compressor oil. A real Yong Heng is about 40$ more than the ones you posted on eBay. The 40$ extra would be worth it to me to get a name brand that people know about. You’ll also need a gold filter to separate moisture which you can also find on eBay for about $100

They are a good lil compressor. I use mine to fill the gun only as it only has to run for less then 1 minute and should run forever like this. Although many fill their large bottles with them I sure would discourage it! Also I have noticed that because of the short run time filling the gun only TOTALLY 100% ELIMINATES the need to spend the extra money for the extra moisture filter! I know that I will get some flack for this statement but I know it to be fact as I have had my gun apart tuning on it dozens of times and I have seen zero signs of any moisture including in the air reservoir of the gun which has well over 10,000 rounds, All powered by this compressor.

FWIW my yong heng's electronics crapped out after a couple months of light use. Taking it apart it is clear that it wasn't designed by someone who understood the application. No mitigation for vibration whatsoever on any of the components, so while I'm not sure which little electronic component specifically died, clearly it wasn't meant to last very long. Eventually everything heavy on there would have fatigued and broke off at the through-hole solder mounts. So far the mechanics are still going, but the Ebay seller I bought it from is at the "go take a hike" stage of not responding to me. I was thankfully able to rewire it to use my own switch without too much hassle, although that means the pressure cutoff doesn't work. The stock resettable fuse was also crap, had to replace that. Some amount of electronic fussing with an arduino could make it all work like new again, but figure this is a disposable toy, if you can't stand the idea of it dying after not too terribly much use, you probably don't want it. On the flip side of the coin if you know how to work on something like this, it might be okay value.

That's awesome someone knows what an Arduino is on this forum. Check out how I make strings for me and the kids bows. I have an Arduino inside the little box in the video.

Thanks everyone for the advise. I think I'll buy one with the name Yong Peng on the side, that way I can get parts.

That’s about what I paid for mine I believe. I would email them and just ask the question about it being a Yong Heng and not a knockoff. That way you have one more thing on your side Incase they send a no name one. I did when I ordered mine but it didn’t matter because mine was the real thing.

Done, I will wait and see if they respond. If not, I think I will just go to the WalMart website and order that one. Its priced at $288

I got this one for $222 shipped fedex ground. No bait and switch. This Yong Heng model is the good one but does not have the selectable pressure shut off, Seller has a good rep and shipped the same day purchased. It was here in two days. Like Chuck441 I fill an Impact X direct from 150 bar to 250 taking about a minute. Some recommend starting with the bleed open but I have a long micro line with a filter. Filling that up takes most of the time because once the guns starts filling past 150 it goes pretty quick. I have pretty high confidence (fingers crossed) in the compressor. Spare seal set, piston and filters were easy to get on AliExpress. A whole new top end (cylinder, piston, rod etc) is only $60.

I have only had mine for a short time and just fill my rifles. So far it works great, much better than pumping. I am thinking about a HP tank to fill my guns then I only fill it once and can fill several times. I bought mine from ac-racing on eBay 222.50 and look at the information on it where it says Yong Heng.I also bought a filter for 49.99 with a fiber, charcoal, and desicant chamber. I don’t need it right now and have no problems with moisture. Hope that helps I looked around for awhile.

Mine is the 110v version but I believe the 220v has the auto shutoff switch. I always keep a close eye on mine so I see no need for the shutoff in my case. I’m right there to shut it off as soon as it needs. One thing to note is start with the bleeder open then shut it after a few seconds and open the bleeder before shutting the compressor down. This helps with prolonging the life of the compressor from what I’ve read.

I made an offer on this one. they sent a counter offer an said this in the message …………. "It is genuine YONG HENG. It can set pressure and will auto shut off. "

I'm looking at the picture, isn't the auto shut off on the guage? the picture doesn't show it has an auto shut off.

Mine is like the first one . So far it's working like a Charm . I have only used it a short while but the one thing Ive noticed is that ice in the water bucket helps ( but melts fast ) and I also have a blower fan pointed right at the piston area ...That helps a lot also

Instead of fast melting ice Joe, freeze you up a few 2 liter plastic soda pop bottles full of water and stick 'em in your water bath. they melt slow and are eminently refreezable. gary

Good deal. The price went up a few bucks since I bought. Looks like they added the shutoff. To my knowledge that is the top tier of the Yong Heng. It could just be the shutoff when it hits the 300 bar. I got a complete set of seals on aliexpress for $10 and a spare piston with rings for $13.

Just my 2 cents.... I’ve owned both, the Yong Heng and the Vevor. The Yong Heng died after 2 months of extremely light use. Bought it exactly sept 24th. Warranty is non-existing. I emailed the seller and all I get is that they are checking with the manufacturer. What happened to mine? The pistons broke. And I really babied this thing. Changed the good oil twice in the time I had it. Used really good oil. Water for cooling it was coming from my pool so it was always cold.

heres my piston from the Yong Heng after 2 months of light topping off. Maybe turn it on four times.

Ordered a second one last week, the vevor. Got here really quick. Leaking in a few places. Which I fixed right away and it’s working. But still.

I got fed up with the cheap eBay compressors and bought an Omega Air Charger for 1395.00 from Airguns of Arizona. Holy cow! What a difference! It is literally 300 percent quiet compared to the eBay Chinese junk! Has the auto shut off, it is cased including the water cooling system. It’s just a completely different monster. Well worth the money! Had I known all this before, I would have never bought the eBay stuff.

The yong Heng is sitting in a corner waiting on a new piston I ordered from AliExpress for 28 bucks. The vevor sits in a corner waiting for me to enclose it with water cooling system, radiator and all that good stuff to see if it lasts. Plus if I want to piss off the neighbor I’ll turn on the vevor!
