YH price hikes

I suppose by now many of us have noticed the free shipping and prices of the Yong Heng compressors on e-Bay have changed drastically. It is hard, if not impossible to find one in the $250 + or - region with free shipping these days, like they were just a month or so ago.

Guess all good things come to an end. I can only hope those that buy at current prices are getting the newest and upgraded versions.

I have a piston in my parts bid waiting to go in mine if it takes a turn for the worst. I don't fill tanks other than those on my guns and never let the temperature go above 40C. That may or may not be a saving grace.

Don't hesitate to buy a Yong Heng if you can find a good price on one. I (and many others) have used them for over a year without issue. Some have had problems with them, as people have had with Air Venturi, Hatsan, and even the vaunted Daystate. ANYTHING can have a problem. The Yong Heng has been, for it's price, well worth the money for quite a few people.

In China, the compressor is still available in the Yong Heng on-line shop and the auto-shut-off model is being sold at USD 150 which is the same as that two years ago when I bought mine. For this reason I am afraid the broken supply chain theory doesn't stand. Something is discouraging people from shipping the compressor to US.

The $183 shipping might have something to do with it. It takes that $150 compressor and makes it a $333 compressor, and that's the "basic" version. About $410 shipped for the adjustable set point version.
