Yellow crown Co. input needed .22 and .25

I think your asking for Factory numbers on a stock Crown Continuum in .25?

If so my gun came from the factory set at 150 bar.
•380mm PW-Max 850-855 with 25.4gr

•700mm PW-Max 995 with 25.4gr

•700mm PW-Max 900-905 with 34gr

I just finished porting both barrels and the probe this afternoon and re-power tuned with the 700mm slug barrel and the 34gr. Reg pressure set to 155 bar. I didn’t mess around much above 155 seemed like it was about tapped out with stock internals.

•Ported 380mm PW-Max 875 with 25.4gr.

•Ported 700mm PW-Max 1040 with 25.4gr.

•Ported 700mm PW-Max 935-940 with 34gr.

I actually had the 380 barrel ported prior to this power tune and I was able to get the 25.4gr going 875. I’m sure it will go up a little bit with the current tune but I really don’t think it pays to port the 380 mm barrel.

I want to shoot slugs at some point and was looking for a little bit of headroom. With limited time I did shoot a few groups 700mm 34gr and found that the gun was actually shooting best backed down to PW4 at 908. I didn’t try slower but I would imagine PW3 would also be great as it shot them great at 875 prior to the tune.

.25 cal is sorely lacking in pellet choices but the ones you do have work so well I don’t think it matters much. You have a ton of choices and 22 caliber but let’s be honest most guys with FX guns are probably only shooting 5-6 of those options.

With the 380mm shooting 25.4 grains in the 835 to 845 range I have found wonderful accuracy. With no wind I’ve been able to get 5/8 to 3/4 of an inch groups at 75yds and even 1 1/4” at 100yds which I feel is that pellets distance limit. 25.4 and the new Hades will be your options. You just can’t make a ton of power from it. Pushing them much past 850 seems to just waste air.

700mm - 940 with 34gr should set me up pretty good for some slug testing.
I feel in love with .25 cal through my springers. Lots of squirrels over the years and my .25 cal Diana 52 knocked them down so much better than my 48 or 56TH in .22

380mm set up for small game shooting pellets I’ll take .25 cal. 40ft/lbs and 1 ragged hole at 50yds.

700mm and slugs? 65-70 ft/lbs. To early to tell but the current .22 slug setups are proving pretty unbelievable.

These are sunny times in the PCP world.😎

How did yours shoot the H&N’s?

I never tried them in mine. I would think you could really turn the power down a bit and have a great 50-75 yard pest gun with tons of shots. With the reg at 150bar I was seeing 85 shots 25.4gr PW-4 840ish. I’m pretty happy with that.

I agree it would be nice to have a couple more weight options for the 380mm barrels.

The 380mm setup really covers most of my needs. I’m not a bullpup fan so this is a great semi compact gun that feels right at home out in the woods.

I will say it’s impressive going to the 700mm and jumping from 40ft/lbs to 65ft/lbs. Those 34gr really smack the spinners.
