    Hello AGN:

Looking to sell a five (5) month old (Made in Czech Republic) Taipan Veteran Standard in 0.22 Caliber w/ Brown stock.  Included with this rifle are: THREE (3) magazines, single shot tray, fill probe, end-cap & HST adjustment pins, extra o-rings and Magpul L3 MOE 7-slot picatinny rail.  Bipod, scope, level and rings are not included with the purchase price.  Will ship in its original box and double boxed with plenty of padding for safe delivery.

I bought this 0.22 to try out a smaller caliber but am sticking with my normal 0.25 lineup.  This 0.22 Veteran is an excellent shooter; it is currently set up to shoot the JSB 18.1g Heavies at about 930-940fps and they do great at this setting.  If you plan on shooting lighter 0.22 pellets, you'll need to dial down the HST a bit (which is very easy to do) to account for the lighter weight as it'll shoot those way too hot and groups won't be tight.  Right out of the box, this 0.22 is a lot quieter than the same rifle in 0.25 caliber and if you put your favorite moderator on this rifle, it'll be whisper quiet.  A Magpul picatinny rail has been added to allow for the use of a bipod or other accessory.  The trigger is highly adjustable and one of the finest available on any air rifle; it is current stock and has not been adjusted as of yet.  This rifle is only a few months old, holds air perfectly and is in excellent condition.  The only mark on this rifle is a scratch on the rear of the stock by the HST adjuster that has been color matched with a wood touch-up pen.  Other than that, everything else is in phenomenal shape!

The airtube and shroud on this Veteran have been meticulously wrapped with an automotive grade, premium quality carbon fiber wrap that was carefully cut to measure and properly cured with a heat gun.  This was done merely for aesthetics as the metal surfaces underneath are in excellent condition.  I think the carbon fiber looks awesome but if you don't want it, you can quickly/easily peel it right off without leaving any residue behind.

As with all my previous listings, the same disclaimers apply.  I used to be a lot more active on the forums and am just picking back up again recently.  I have/had 13+ pages of all positive feedback on the old Yellow BOI as both a buyer and seller; I have a few pages here and on the new Yellow BOI.  I stand behind what I sell and am happy to answer as many questions in as much detail as you need if you’re a serious buyer.  I’ve provided plenty of really clear, high resolution photos below because I want my buyers to know exactly what they’re buying – please take the time to review them.

Price is FIRM @ $1,100 + 1/2 shipping.  Payment by Paypal Friends & Family is the preferred method (otherwise, you'll need to cover the 3.5% fee on your end).  If you’re in the SF Bay Area, I’m happy to meet locally for the exchange so you can fully inspect the rifle and not have to pay any shipping.  You can reach me either by PM here or at yendnguyen at gmail
