Finally got most of the debris removed -fencing and foliage - noticed a definate diferance in conditions now that the property to the left of the bullet trap has been defoliated.
but makes for better practice -although getting them 750s is much harder now
Ordered 4 more wind flags - got the Graham - they seem to be much faster at reading the switch, compared to the Orlando's ?
I love the new front rest- it's so easy to go from a sighter to a Bull - really is the smoothest Rest I've ever used -really makes shooting seem like a video game now!

A truly fantastic day for shooting ! Mild winds and plenty of warm sunshine
I just finished up a set -
shooting the Thomas -.177 cal 13.4 grain monsters -
oh and them Election signs sure come in handy ! Saves me from going to the Home Depot and buying them!!

Watch out boys and girls! My Steyr FT rig is back from AZ, and I'm betting she got what it takes to be a solid BR rig as well. After I get done giving her a workout, I'm going to take her FT accoutrements off and put her onto that nice rest Chip sent me and see what she'll do

I'm looking forward to some cards. It was dead calm this am, but it was 33 degrees so I took a pass. Unfortunately it gets dark before I get home from work, so it might be a bit before I can do 25M on my outdoor range.

Sorry for the absence, been preping for a match this weekend, got my wobbly bench tune loaded, shot a 750-55x last night by the light of the moon. id post the targets butt photo bucket doesnt like me.

Yes it is! That's why it is a FT gun and not a walk-in-the-woods hunting gun!! I can slide AZs knee rest to a point where the gun's weight is balanced over the knee rest and it goes straight down into the kneecap so it doesn't matter. For BR weight is good!

I know that at Salem and Oxnard - had to remove caps sunshades -spirit level- and bottom butt plate to make the weight limit in LV class-
them scopes add some serious weight-

Fully dressed with FT gear and FT weights she is 17 lbs. Stripped down to the way I'd shoot her in BR she is 12.5 lbs. Didn't even need to remove the weight from the butt hook area, air tube cap, scope side wheel, windage cap, flip compensator, etc.
