Mark, with my Styer, I had a club member reccomend Slick 50 One Lube Spray. I don't remember if he got that from AZ or not. It Definitly improved the accuracy. I know quite a few guys that their Styers prefer lubed pellets. My particular barrel is an Anschutz barrel but still likes the lubed pellets.

FYI, When talking to Mike Niksch about his gun_ he told me he uses WD 40.

What type of rest are you using? Is that a 1 or 2 piece rest?
Have you been sorting the pellets for your practice shoots or matches?

Oh I did try the Kryteck as a pellet lube- put a tiny bit in an empty pellet tin, the rolled around 20 or so pellets- dried with a paper towel- 
disastrous results - was like a shotgun! I think some got into the skirts causing erratic rotation -
Mike - I haven't sorted or weighed any - just pull em out of the tin. But for fun I did weigh some to see if there was much deviation -
I was very surprised at the weight variance - from 15.2 to 16.5 grain!! 
So I guess weighing would be good for matches?
The rest is a one piece from Target Shooting Inc

they do have the front section as a front rest,to use with rear bag - guess for international sanctioned events?

But ive found that the barrel needs a more thorough solvent for cleaning -
I'm currently using Shooters Choice -Lead Out - with some success -
really need a stronger lead removing solvent though_--

also have tried soaking in Kroil to lift lead --
again so so results 
there are other solvents out there that will remove lead but -- same issues with barrels --

Frank, two things you can try. I use Kroil. It gets into 1 mil of an inch and helps loosen the lead. ...Google it. Or try Hoppes 9 ..I have not had a problem with it doing my gunsmithing for years. No problem on chrome or stainless so far. Decent lead remover, but don't get it on seals..I don't know how that will react.

Also I am using Slick 50 One Lube spray for lubing pellets. No issues I can see. The only problem is most auto stores don't carry the One Lube. I bought mine on Amazon.

I've got the giant bottle of Hoppes no# 9 - use it for firearms 
not really a good lead remover,more for copper and gunpowder fouling -
and the Kroil really had little effect,even when left in the barrel, plugged --
I did order some of this from Midway, put a pellet in a dish - watched it fizz a bit, then it turned the pellet white- but did no more?
im reluctant to use it inside the barrel. And once you've used it, you must quickly neutralize it with Rubbing achlchol or the neutralizer that they make

I also could use an old world technique - Hyrdrogen Peroxide/viniger - 
I mixed a 50/50 solution and dropped an 18 grain JSB .22 cal pellet into the solution- WOW! It completely dissolved the pellet within a few hours! 
But im really reluctant to use this in the chrome moly barrel -
I've got some other old world ideas - but one of them is very toxic to people -- EPA nightmare!!

My recommendation would be to ask Mike N. how to clean your barrel, then do that only.

Came home from work, shot the R10 looking for the right combinations, seemed to be stuck in the high 230's in the mechanical rest. So I shot off bags tonight, 10.3's out of Magazines.

Tomorrow I'll try a bipod

My ears just went up. I thought all the Thomas guns were basically one hole 10x at 25M (no wind)?

By the way, thank you for the Big Nikko; Allen is working on it as we type. Might send him the LG at the end of this week for a new barrel

One of our club members just picked one up from someone and has it set at 12 FT lbs for WFTF. He seems to like it so far. He traded a Styer for it. He normally shoots an Air Arms FTP.

Have you ever gotten into field target? I and another club member will be at the Cajun Classic in Baton Rouge a week.

With the FT stock and your skill, you would be a force to reckon with in FT. Just getting the ranging down......

yes thats what they say,,,, Here in Florida we shoot off one legged tables for practice..lol I was thinking of you today, wondering if the scope made it to Allen, i was gonna email you to check up on it! Leave me a BOI plz and enjoy her. From what ive seen the gun im getting may de throne KiNG Thomas.... top 3 places in Euro champs if my Russian translate is correct.... She"ll be the first in the country to be on scoreline, hope she's worth the wait
