Wow, what the heck is going on, Pigeon shooting ban in England

I heard about that ridiculous decision yesterday, it's all over the Facebook airgun sites. People are not happy...

I feel very sad for fellow shooting and hunting enthusiasts in England. I wish them the best in getting this corrected as swiftly as possible, without any "bad compromises" resulting in a "lesser" ban, or ridiculous contradictions like the one that started this mess in the first place (per the video).
I also encourage everyone here in the US to take heed and understand that we have to remain vigilant of what goes on in our own government with respect to any laws that take away our choices and rights. England doesn't have a monopoly on bad laws or stupid politicians...we grow plenty here.

Well the world can see how we conduct our selves in a democratic decision in parliament regarding leaving the EU , and this general licence is how people with an agenda can affect the lives of millions of people in the rural community with a single stroke , We don't have the hard attitude of a political representation or a group that can't not be blown away by these people who have the eyes and ear's of the general public and a national television company who push there point of view to the uninformed public by people who have this agenda who work for them .
The way that I grew up as a rural young man with shooting etc has had its day in the UK , if you go to the range it is all old men who like me hang on to the old life style but this country has standards now that are made for the man who sits down to piss and women who stand up to piss and children who don't know if there boys or girls .
We are very quickly turning into a society who are so strongly driven by alternative minded people who have these beliefs that the country is a place were nobody with a voice will say no because it will offend .
That's enough ………..

Yeah it's a complete mess here in the UK, at present we only got a general licence for Carrion Crows, still waiting one for pigeons plus others 
The ban only applies to England not Wales, Scotland or Irland at present.
New conditions now is that we have to make every attemp to use non lethal force before doing so,to scare them away.
