I'm a FT pretender. Actually, I do pretty well but just don't attend very often. Kids got in the way for a few years and I just haven't gotten back in the swing since time freed up. But while I'm om a limited budget, I am retired and need/want something to do besides cut grass and drink beer 😂 yes I have other options but…  I am planning to attend the next DIFTA FT match so we'll see how that goes.

While I've not been able to get ahold of an example of the course of fire that NRL22 appears to publish in advance of the matches, I have seen the basic target set. Not cheap but not crazy, plus construction of the barricades and benches…..  Seems to the novice (me) that these shoots could be done at many FT locations, or in my case my back yard, but only for airguns. Organized shooting ranges are a rare breed around me and the only one I've found that does NRL22 is limited to military/law enforcement and the public (generally) cant join or attend.

Just looking for thoughts. I'd like to contact them about using their format for AG shoots even if they woudn't consider them as official results.

The courses of fire are posted here on AGN and on the NRL-22 web site. One thing I noticed about each month's course of fire is you better practice shooting from your weak side since each month one of the courses (out of five total on average) is set up to shoot left handed if you're right hand and vice versa…

The COF's are in the NRL22 "downloads" link on their site.

Thanks for the COF info, I missed it both places.

I'll try to keep the Rules, regulations & courses of fire updated here as well:

    Thank you Michael.

I guess now that I learned my oversights in finding the COF's, I suppose I'm still wondering if there is an interest in 'private ' shoots or better yet AAFTA FT clubs adding this to their schedule. I figure if there is interest under appropriate organization, we (airguners) might be able to do this on a larger scale and still have it recognized. Or we could follow the same rules and COF and hold our own matches. Published on forums but hopefully with some acknowledgement.
