I have a possible trade in the works, but needed some help on the decision. I have the Hawke Sidewinder 30 10x42 that someone wants to trade for a Mtc Genesis 5-20x50. Do you think that is a good trade? If so, why or why not please?

Good question. I too am unsure of which is better. One thing to note is that the hawke has a 42mm objective lens while the genesis has a 50mm objective lens. This should theoretically mean the genesis should gather more light. Also on hawkes website it says the sidewinder has a 4 inch eye relief. Not sure if this is at maximum poer but the genesis only has 3 inches.
