Worst Best Air Rifle you ever had...vote!

Air Arms ProTarget. .. bought new circa 2001. Had a 1 hole group included on paper with chrono string. I couldn't shoot 1 hole with it at 5 yards, much less any reasonable distance ..... with ANY pellet of the time. My cheapest China rifle shot better with any pellet and iron sights. In fact, I had NO rifle that shot worse. After a tremendous amount of work on it, I ended up machining an HW barrel and a collar for support and all was good.... except for having to rebuild the reg every year.

I bought a Beeman HW77 in the mid-1980s. It was a great rifle. I still regret selling it.

The worst was an R9 that I bought from a guy who was supposed to be a super=duper tuner. Nothing but problems out of the box. I sent it back for repair. Still problems.

I sold it for 1/2 of what I paid and was glad to be rid of it. 

Who was the tuner,so I don't send any of my guns to him?

FX Crown. It would shoot good groups, but POI would shift for no apparent reason. Swore off any kind of liner/sleeve assembly.

Beeman Crow Magnum. A beautiful rifle that just wouldn’t shoot. The groups moved around so much you’d have thought they were alive. I did everything I could think of to stop the constant POI change but was never successful. I ultimately sold it (after full disclosure of course - I don’t believe in dumping my problems onto an unsuspecting buyer, and those who do should be ashamed of themselves) and I gave the fellow who bought it a deal that couldn’t be beat.

I am pretty sure that he is no longer in business. No point in beating a dead horse.
