Went out to my buddies property today n sighted in his Gauntlet. It's a good rifle, but I'm partial to my Flash QE. He bagged some squirrels n a cottontail.
I shot this squirrel with a GTO @ 30yrds, went clean through entered through the neck , exited through the back. I bagged 4 bunnies for the pot.
Best shot was 71yrds using H&N FTT, I proned out using my bi-pod, perfect side view. Took a breath n squeezed one off, impact was solid thwack. I went 2,mils up on middle of his ears hit him left of
his eyeball, went clean through. Had 2 witnesses my buddy Kevin who bagged 2 bunnies, with his beautiful Brocock Compatto in .22 n Blake who shoots the Gauntlet. Good day to hang out with buddies n do some pesting.
