Tuning woods walker quit cocking.... Help

Help.

Having some issue with my prod. It was getting kinda difficult to cock, then this am during some early am target practice it quit cocking. I bought rifle used, and it has been modified. Has Huma and this debouncer thingamajig that replaced Pin "J" on the diagram I think.... (The phillips screw with the washers)

I took it apart and it appears to me that the debouncer is coming out of the hammer when firing, and therefore it doesn't allow to be re cocked. I see some shiny wear marks.... Do I need to replace the part? Does the debouncer replace J, or am I missing a part?

I think I need these parts from the diagram...

20 1763A036 Striker 1

21 CH2009-023 Pin, Acetal

Any assistance would be appreciated

That screw is used in place of the cocking pin. The debouncer should be a few O-rings in the tube that the hammer hits. But I'd suspect that the screw is your problem.

If you put the hammer back in does it catch the trigger sear? Maybe the previous owner messed with the sear?

Oh? Almost forgot your trigger is adjustable and the screws tend to move. The 2 tiny allen screws on the trigger housing might have moved, and is not allowing the trigger sear to engage the hammer.

I can get it to cock and fire once or twice, then the screw comes out of the back hole on the hammer, so the bolt has nothing to grab onto to cock back.... if that makes sense.

Maybe the previous owner messed with the sear? possibly, or just a worn part/screw that needs replacing. Any idea what to use as a replacement? seems like a possible hardware store purchase?
