Wood Rat taken by Mrod .22 LW.

Went up to my Buddy's house in Valley Center last night and Popped this Wood Rat / Pack Rat from under his patio deck, used my Mrod .22 cal with LW barrel, with a JSB exact Jumbo RS 13.43 grn diabolo pellet and my DYI NV form about 15 yards, photo #1

last weekend I got these 3 with my Weihrauch HW100 T FSB .20 cal with JSB exact 13.73 grn diabolos and my DYI NV, photo #2

sorry about the photo quality, taking a picture in total darkness I found to be quite difficult, I had the tape measure there but you can't see the marks so I'll give you the measurements, the lone Rat was 14", the others were, top Rat 15", middle Rat 14", bottom Rat 16", pretty big for Wood Rats, this species has a hairless tail unlike most Wood / Pack Rats, and these seem bigger than most, maybe because they get fed a lot from the compost scraps.... I did get a Roof Rat before that measured 17", it had the longest tail I had ever seen.

That's an amazing hobby of collecting a Rat photographs at night. The number of rats are increasing in NY or say at bronx areas, as I have even heard from one of my friends living in NYC that his house is badly infested with number of rodents and their babies. So he is getting very frustrated with the nuisance spread by rats in the form of droppings. So one of his neighbour suggested him to contact to the pest exterminator, who will exterminate all the rats permanently from home. I think everyone living in the NYC should be already done by an Extermination process from professional exterminators like exterminators new york city to get rid of pest issues.
