Wont buy from Tony/TalonTunes Again

I bought from Tony recently, a Vulcan2 .30 Laminate with Ronin.

I asked for pictures of the two Vulcan2 .30's he had in stock; to help me pick the prettiest stock. I deliberately took a long weekend off when it was due to arrive. He sent me the lighter stock one, I wanted the darker, and did not include the Ronin LDC. I called him when the wrong gun, without LDC arrived. He asked me if I was sure I had gotten the wrong one, and then went on to ask if I was SURE the (large) Ronin wasn't included in the plano/AGT gun case. Really?

He apologized and said he'd get the Ronin right out. TWO days later, it got shipped. I received it 4 days after my gun arrived; way past the weekend off. I wonder if Tony actually had the Ronin in stock, in the first place. The Vulcan 2 was way too loud to shoot without the Ronin, so, I did not end up shooting it all weekend, like I had hoped.

After this, I read through the Dealer Feedback column here, and I'm not the first to receive poor service at Talon Tunes. I wish I had read this column prior to purchase, but, live and learn.

I've sold the gun since.

I bought a couple Vortex scopes earlier this year. After mounting one, I noticed the side focus knob was too tight to turn. I called Vortex on a Monday morning spoke with a nice lady. She verified they had a new replacement in house, and told me she'd send a new replacement, with a return pkg for mine.

It was on my front step, the very next day!

THAT type of service is hard to find anymore.
