Winners Circle - EBR 2021 - Speed Silhouette

yeah him aint he a pro or should be pro class i would think as he shoots in some shoots just was wondering kinda goofy he would shoot in the sportsman class what determans what class you would shoot in

@Douger I don’t know Nate well, but I know him to be a hunter. He shoots well offhand. If you watch his videos he’s mostly hunting or reviewing a gun he’s used for a while (at least the ones I watch). In his AGN posts it seems he post hunting videos and discusses using and modifying airguns primarily for hunting purposes. I’m sure if you asked him why he competed in that class he may answer your questions. He’s a pretty cool guy.

o yeah i watch his videos and subscribe to his channel great hunter wasnt saying he should or shouldnt shoot in that class just was wondering what makes you pro or sprortman guess you pick where you think you belong if i owned a gun shop but didnt shoot much id be a sprtsman shooter

To be honest, I asked the same thing. It seems to me that one’s level of experience and confidence has something to do with which class you enter. It would be great to get some clarification on that point. I would think that the event’s facilitators would not let a pro compete against the new guys, at least I hope they wouldn’t 😅. That would be horrible

When buddy got tired of loading pellets one-by-one, he must’ve thought “eff it,” and just dumped out the entire tin over the mag, I thought, “hmmm. There’s an interesting strategy.” When he did it with the second mag I smiled. Then when he set his elbow in the pile of pellets and started shooting, I couldn’t help but laugh. I can only imagine the pressure of hearing other competitors already shooting after I was only able to load 4-5 pellets into the first mag.

Any news for regular air rifle silhouette?!?

Please elaborate. Shown in the video is Sportsman Class, Pro Class, and Open Class.

I mean original air rifle silhouette, you know... shooting standing and off-hand. It's a thing.

Hmmm perhaps you are referring to field target, where shooters walk around a course shooting at steel knock-down targets from various positions. I've got footage of that too. Keep an eye out next week.

No, I mean air rifle silhouette, just like smallbore silhouette, high-power silhouette, and lever-action silhouette.

"Speed silhouette" and "benchrest silhouette" are recent spin-offs of metallic silhouette which has been around since the 1950's.
