Got a buddy of mine very interested in getting a Winchester 70 .357 specifically.  We've been looking online and found a few review videos but they only show 50 yard groups.  He's really curious to see what the gun groups like at 75-100 yards.  Anyone here have one that has tried to shoot for groups at those distances?

I have one in .45.  did well w some Mr hollowpoint 155 great out to 75yds.  Next time out the gauge was on zero.  Hiss was all I got from it when trying to fill.  After 8mo of trying to get parts I'm giving up.  Nice gun, I understand failures happen, but the service on it is ridiculously bad.

$150 loss? Why? Too loud? Too ugly? Too powerful? Air hog?

    Do tell.

I am Fairly new to pcp's and should have joined Airgun Nation before I purchased this gun. If I had I would have found out the quality of small bore pcp I wanted was RAW, Crown, etc. It was my 2nd pcp. Dragon Claw being the first, now I have 3 Quackenbush's and 1 Extreme. The Dragon Claw never gets shot any more either.

Sy.evanix.com    Just email this address an he will send you a diagram with all parts an the numbers for them . I just ordered a valve stem an valve body. But first I’m gonna try an make my own valve stem because the factory ones are flawed an will break with added spring tension. I’m gonna use 4 mm stainless pin an Teflon.

If you’re going to make a new valve stem and poppet. I suggest using PEEK. It’s extremely hard material that won’t get pounded into the seat after time . With the benefit of easier opening . You can get by with 3/8” that can be bought on eBay in 6” lengths . All of my rifles use it including a Winchester 257-70.
