wildcat regulator creap

waited 2 months for my wildcat, now less than 2 weeks later it wont hold a group over night ,i will be shooting with pin point accuracy after i rezero ..every time i pick up the gun i have to rezero, now i have to send it off to be fixed...looks like spending 1300 bucks on a gun,it would be problem free...frustrated as hell. i know i aint the only one with regulator problems with the wildcat,if fx cant make a reg right ,why cant they just offer a huma option?

Tell us more about your groups. How long after you quit shooting and then shoot again are you seeing a change? Did you check the velocities with a chronograph after it has set a while and then shot a string and is the string good after the first shot assuming it's different/low maybe? Seems like everyone is quick to assume its a bad regulator. All three of my FX work fine even though I did put a Huma in my Wildcat, mainly just to get a larger plenum for more velocities to shoot the Heavies with. You might indeed have an issue with it but I'd make some checks to confirm it.

I have the same issue with my Impact which prompted me to order a Huma.

At the range I would constantly be adjusting my zero at first, but after looking at the chrono numbers it was obvious that after 10 rounds or so the reg settled down. So what I do now is to shoot 10 rounds at the berm before I bother shooting at targets. No more having to re-zero the scope.

Still sucks when I get a shot at a critter at 2am out my window, or a squirrel during the day.
