Wildcat on the prowl tonight!

Normally I go to the farm on Saturday night and stay for Sunday but we have a very bad winter weather system coming in tomorrow night. It's supposed to dump up to 2 feet of snow through Sunday night so I figure I better get at it tonight while I can!

Skunks and raccoons. Coyotes frequent the farmyard too but I'm reluctant to shoot at them with the 25 caliber.

Just killed two skunks. Sorry, I didn't even havw time to setup the Side-Shot.

Three skunks now. Waiting on more.

Didn't get a shot on a 4th because he wouldn't stop. I could have stopped him with a body shot then finised him off but chose to wait.....maybe he'll come back through.

Dang, the wind shifted right toward me from the kill zone....I had to bail out of there.

Fog has also moved in so I mihht try to catch a short nap. Hopefully this good night will transition to a good day on the feral pigens. ?

Just the one raccoon and four skunks all together. I ended up getting physically sick to my stomach about 2 hours after I left there due to the raw skunk spray smell.

Once daylight hit I was struggling a bit on the few opportunities I had on pigeons. But I hung in there and finished strong at a farm that I hadn't been to in a while.

Now I have two videos to make!!

So so at the end of a long day, overall I am pleased with my performance. I've definitely had worse days. The farmers are thrilled with the results and my open invite to come back as often as I want still stands.

The Wildcat definitely owned the night and staked its claim on the day!!

I got the WC last week. Been out with it twice now. I think the thrid time out will be a charm!!

The scope is the Athlon Argos BTR 6-24x50, FFP with APMR Mil reticle and Mil turrets. Side focus and IR. Excellent scope, especially for the price. $150 cheaper than the Hawke I have on the SL22.
