I’ve got the DonnyFL Tanto on mine and all you hear is the hammer strike on the valve, then the ting of lead on steel. Super mod and it looks great on the WC.I’ve got the DonnyFL Tanto on mine and all you hear is the hammer strike on the valve, then the ting of lead on steel. Super mod and it looks great on the WC.

Correct!! Same with the Tanto, they can attach directly to the shroud with the proper end cap. I use them on my WC25 MKII.
If you want to use the larger 1.6″ or 2″ diameter ones like the Sumo or Ronin, you’ll need the adapter.
FULL DISCLOSURE
Due to variances in manufacture/build between one FX Wildcat and the next, the 1.2″ diameter of the KOI and Tanto might rub the fill port dust cover like on my rifle. There are some WC owners who fit the KOI directly to the shroud with no clearance issues at all.
I had to mod my fill port cover so I could run the KOI directly off the shroud without interference. The advantage of running directly off the shroud is it saves weight and shortens overall length.
Here’s a pic of my fill port cover. I took it to a local machine shop and they milled a flat spot as you see here. Now the only time it touches is when I am filling the cylinder.
Here is how it looks in place:

June 14, 2018 at 2:39 pm LinkHaven’t seen any rub with either MarkII in .22 or the Compact when using the Koi. Don’t know about other DonnyFL models directly attached to shroud.

A compact should never have those clearance issues.

I had ordered through Krale and the order showed that it was for a Wildcat, problem was that apparently the Wildcats there have female threads, so when I received mine, no workie. I contacted Krale and they made it right, but I had to buy another adapter at $30 more to get it here.
Be careful when ordering this from Krale to make certain that the thread is correct.Hmmmm….my Wildcat does not have a .5" thread, it has a finer, male thread. Deleted AccountThe confusion arises from the fact that the 22 caliber Wildcat and the 25 caliber Wildcat are different where the moderator attaches they require different adapters… it makes no sense to me why one would be set up one way and the other completely different… but that’s a question for FX I suppose.

December 7, 2018 at 8:08 am LinkJust put a Hugget Atom on my mk1 .25 Wildcat. At 2.5” i love the short length, it still keeps the gun very truck friendly for when I’m at the farm. My dad borrowed my truck yesterday and used the gun to shoot at a pigeon, after not knowing the holdover and missing twice, he laid it down and called me to tell me my gun was out of air lol. It’s really THAT quiet! After proving to him it was fine, he couldn’t believe how much quieter the gun is now! I can’t really speak for donnyFL as i haven’t tried one, but that hugget is MEAN!
