Wildcat MKIII Huma Powered

I installed a Huma regulator in my bud puertorico's Wildcat. While tuning gun with the supplied test gauge installed I thought it should become permanent to keep up with what's going on behind regulator. Stock modified with a Kaliber gun AGN friends help and tooling. Guess cutting on an FX product intrigues him. What do you guys think? I am following another members lead, Chuck on the Huma modification. So far with limited testing I am pushing the heavies out 13 FPS faster averaged with ten more shots available than the FX regulator.

Rich that gauge is reg pressure not the guns service pressure, still need to look into the barrel. Dirtbike it is a 52ft/lb .25 cal that is setup to shoot 34gr jsb mkii at 832 FPS. The wildcat is really a compact killer, I watched the guns owner put two big coons down at 60 yards with nite site equipment (DRT) and multiple piegon rolled at 80y. It is a proven hunting gun. My primary gun is still a Bobcat.

"jking"Wow, that looks really nice. Can you get a close up of the gauge itself? I'd like to see how it's incremented. Great mod, but if there's a better gauge I might go that way. Does HUMA say how accurate that particular gauge is? I would guess they check them against a digital test gauge before sending one out.

I was wondering about its accuracy as well. But since it's a HUMA, it is probably good.

Yes on above link to fx test gauge. It's in 10 bar increments. As for rounding or smoothing the stock around indicator you have a different color after removing material. We used a die pen around indicator but it's mostly hidden. Did not want to remove material in view to avoid a problem. Any thing can be done if you put some more effert into it.
