I’m hand in hand with Chuck’s train of thought and discovery. After much observation one would think more “meat” at the end of the probe would cause more “meat” hanging out in the way of the magazine sliding in, as if the newly designed probe may be too long that it now protrudes into the magazine well when the cocking latch is fully cocked back, but I checked it today, and with the cocking latch all the way back there is room for added “meat” to the end, and if anything, it would then flush out with the rear port of the probe. Seems like someone didn’t do their math too well, and instead of hitting the addition button hit the subtraction button instead.
