Wildcat mk2 single shot tray

Just picked up a used wildcat mk2 in .25 from a member here. Thing is awesome, and a tack driver. Before it showed up, I ordered a bunch of different pellets to try in it. One of these being the polimag. Now if I would have done my research before hand, I would have found out they don’t fit the mag. Now I have them, and honestly, I’d really like to try them, as this is my hunting gun. Does anyone sell or know of someone that sells single shot trays for these things? 
I’m sure I could single load it, but I have fat fingers, and it’s tight in that breach. 
 
I know Stuart really well, as he’s made a few things for me. If I recall his single shot is a swing out, and you’ll have to replace your cheek rest for one of his that’s a part of the swing out kit. Almost positive the swing out is the same width as the magazine, too.

If the swing out is the same width as the factory magazine and if the polymag won’t fit the width of the magazine, well, do the math on that one.

FX magazines in general don’t work with polymags. Not too long ago another member inquired about polymags for the Impact, and same scenario. I only personally know of one member who uses polymags on an FX, and that is his FX Boss. He does have to snip off part of the tips. 



That’s bsdically been my experience thru reading and in my own wildcat. If others have made them work successfully, they’ve never piped in.



hence the reason I stick with barracuda hunter extremes in my own WC 25 cal

ONCE AGAIN, clip enough of the tip off to fit in magazine (I use pet nail clippers) & they work just fine. Some guys pull the tips out but I think it changes the aerodynamics MORE than just clipping. Try it, you'll like it!

As much as I appreciate you’re input, I’m not going to be ‘that guy’ that modifies all his pellets to make them work. If they don’t work without modification, then I won’t use them. There’s other options (hades, hybrids) that I’m sure work for what I need. I’m just suprised nobody has a single shot loader for this purpose. My kral guns had larger magazines that fit the polimags just fine. I guess if there’s enough people backing it, jsb will end up making a short version just like they did with the .22. Here’s to keeping my fingers crossed!!
