Wildcat maintenance?

Sorry for my ignorance being new to PCPs. I've had a Wildcat (.25) for about 4 months now & have put a full tin of through (would've been [a lot] more but just too dawn hot (in Tx)).
When I received it & before even firing a single shot I ran some patches through just to make sure the barrel wasn't [too] mucked up with lead buildup, checked all my screws - "nuting & bolting" for car folks, and made sure everything was in place & where it should be.
When it came time to shoot it was everything as advertised; tigger was clean & crisp, power was on par, accuracy was amazing. After 350+ pellets have been spent and the barrel is somewhat "seasoned".

Should I clean the barrel again or wait until I put another tin [or 2 or 3] through?
When I do clean the barrel, what type (brand) of cleaner is recommend that does NOT harm o-ring?
Do I need to oil/lubricate the barrel and/or o-rings after cleaning? If so, what kind (also does not harm o-rings) & frequency?

I've watched tons of videos & asked a couple of forums, but all have given me mixed suggestions. Some say never to clean until POI shifts, some say clean 2per/yr, other say every 400-500 rounds. As far as cleaning substance to use; some say don't use anything just patches, others say WD40, silicon base only but don't give the name.

I'm at a loss, or am I over thinking it. Or wait to cross that bridge when I see accuracy problem...wouldn't it be too late if I neglected that long & stuff [has already] starts to deteriorate i.e. o-rings, seals etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Or a hug & "It'll be ok" would work....prefer the advice though lol.
Thanks!

well there all right to a degree you don't really need to clean your barrel until the poi changes but sometimes that can take a vary long time I know if one of my air riffles is going to be shelved for a decent amount of time I'm going to run a few patched threw with ballistol to help prevent rusting if I've shot a crap ton ill run a patch threw to see how dirty it comes out if it bad I clean if its not ill let it go and a precaution I use silicone oil on my breach orings about ever 1000 shots or just before storage and just after storage I shoot my wildcat a lot as of late and the ST barrel doesn't seem to get vary dirty at least not compared to my marauder and there are a lot of cleaner you can chose I found that just a few patch's with my ballistol spray lube works just fine but there's tons of good cleaners and lubes you can try you can use

I think you are going to have several different answers. Each airgunner has different methods and procedures.

I just bought a Wildcat .22 and this is what I have done and will do.

1 - Did the mod on magazine index (by Ernest Rowe):
2 - Inspect and lubricated all moving parts, arms, pins and bushings with regular gun oil. I also used silicon grease on magazines o-rings and barrel o-ring following FX manual.
3 - Tried to remove the shroud but I have to use a small blowtorch on the tread and decided to do this later when I am going to deep clean the barrel.
4 - I bought a complete repair kit including o-rings and other wear parts. When it arrives I will feel confident to remove the barrel o-ring, the shroud and clean the barrel. This is my first ST barrel and I don't know if it is needed but I do in all my guns.
5 - I like WD40 (or Kano Kroil Penetrating Oil) to remove all lead in the barrel and deep clean. I make sure I remove all the oil before shooting. I like to use boresnakes for that.
6 - My deep clean process is made by applying Iosso Bore Cleaning and Polishing Compound (http://www.midwayusa.com/product/178538/iosso-bore-cleaning-and-polishing-compound-paste-1-1-2-oz-tube). At the end of the process the barrel is smooth and polished. It has been working for me in all my guns. Accuracy for me always improves after a good barrel cleaning.
7 - O-ring barrel has an estimated working life of 2500 pellets. It is made of polyurethane and a pain to find it.
8 - The other o-rings should be replaced when they are not properly sealing. There is no working life forecast for that yet. Mine is leaking (300 shots) and I am waiting for my repair kit to start replacing them.
9 - I ordered some cleaning pellets following FX recommendation. I did not try yet.

Hope this helps.
