Hi guys,
I have a M2 Wildcat .22 that I love. It took some time and tinkering to make it the gun it is now. First off it came with one of the few ST barrels that would lead up and the accuracy would go out the window. AoA replaced the barrel and that problem went away, but then after a couple of years the regulator would need 2-3 shots to "warm up" and shoot consistently. That wasn't really an issue if you were shooting paper but I have the occasional need to whack a starling or other pest, and so I couldn't trust the first few shots to be accurate. A Huma regulator took care of that issue and now I have a great shooting gun that shoots JSB 18's at an average of 880, which is perfect for my needs. Then I noticed there is a M3 Wildcat available that is more adjustable, has a larger magazine, picatinny rail, etc., and that itch to get a new gun has started. I'm going to try to resist that itch for now, but just curious if anybody has had experience with both the M2 and the M3 and would be willing to share their thoughts.
Here is a shot of my gun and a shot of the chunks of lead the original barrel produced.
I probably should have done a search first. I hope this topic isn't redundant.
Thanks,
Don
