Wildcat II vs. Dreamline Bullpup

Totally satisfied with the WC II as far a POA=POI when allowing for wind and hold over/under for changing ranges. The only thing that's a drawback for the WC II is the relatively low shot count in .25. Already have money on Dreamline Bull Pup with Bottle that should help the low shot count. Is it reasonable that all other things being equal that the Dreamline Buillpup will have or maybe even exceed the accuracy of the WC II.

If you're asking for opinions , if you're not just don't read the rest of this ,I think you're wanting to spend a lot of money on little or no improvement. You probably will get a few more shots but you won't get any more accuracy, in my opinion which is what you just got if you read the rest of it. now don't pay any attention & go do what you want to do

i can see the appeal of the dream pup because you can adjust it and you can change configuration if you wish too later. However , the MK2 wildcat is a speed based powerhouse of a gun. it is simple and it is fast and smooth to operate. my factory tune is about 44 shots at 42 FPE. i usually go 40 and fill. and the side lever placement on the cat crushes the placement on the dream pup. you may have a case of thinking grass is greener on other side of the fence. the dream line series is new , i had a few FX guns and lost the desire in them except for my MK 2 cat. it just "churns and burns" with it's performance. see if you can tweek yours a bit before you give up on it.

Have them both love them both.

Differences are:

Wildcat:

* more supported barrel

* easy one piece magazine

* cocking lever near trigger

Dream Pup:

* rearward cocking lever

* external HS adjuster

* external Power wheel

* higher capacity magazine

Besides the cocking which is nothing to get used to on the DreamPup. They both shoot and feel like a “Wildcat”. I can’t put either down! Silly accuracy.

*But when the Dreamline Bottle version releases that will be a high shot count animal!

From just looks alone, as I have never owned an FX, or handled either of these two guns, I prefer the WC. I wonder if they will retire it or keep improving upon it. I would love to see a power selector a-la Streamline. Shot count is not a huge factor for me though, and if they put that power selector on there, I think I would buckle and get my first FX, maybe...

If FX added the 3 level power wheel on the Wildcat, that would make it the “best” airgun ever for me.
