WildCat air tube leaks

Anybody else have problems with leaks on the air tube, after you have it apart to replace/adjust regulator? I've got a bunch of different sized "O" rings coming, and have 2 "O" ring kits for Wildcat. Seems to me, on my cat, that the threads inside the tube, go in too far, and when that end plug with "O" ring is screwed in, the "O" ring is left mating up with threads, instead of the smooth surface needed for proper sealing. Just asking, that's all. Will do more research next time I have it apart, and measure, etc. :)

Yes, Crusher, I've had the leak from around that end plug. Changing that "O" ring usually stops it, but every time I take it back apart to tweak the reg, I have a leak again. I need to measure more closely, but the first couple of go rounds with it, it appears to me that on my tube, the threads go in too far. If after measuring, and verifying the problem, only solution I see, is possibly trimming the end of the tube. We'll see after I get back into it. Got a message from AOA, saying they are now using a slightly larger "O" ring on that end cap. I have ordered some of the size recommended.
I wrote: On one of your youtube videos, your repair man uses a skinny O ring on the end piece of the air tube, where the regulator is. This is not a stock FX part. Can you tell me what size, or where to get a couple? Thanks Frank S Foster
"cootertwo" on your site.

Reply:Frank,We no longer have to use the thin o-rings because we went with a slightly thicker cylinder o-ring. The size we are using is 21.2 x 2.65 NBR 70, hope this helps.SteveThank You,
