Hi Crusher, other place to look at;

1. The barrel set screw seats in between the 2 oring on the brass TP at time i seen screws that blow air even if its tight so I plying thread sealer or Teflon tape.

2. The pellet probe has a mill slot at 1 o clock that is vary close to the probe oring in the barrel when close, so if the pellet pobe depth at the rear of action is less then 28.50mm the probe oring could be seating on the mill slot then it will blow air at the rear.

Hey Crusher, what works for me in all my guns is high temp vacuum seal grease... it's thick, fills in any variation in the machined breech groove and lasts forever. No more puff, increased fps, seals last forever..... I use it on all of them

It has a new breech o'ring and I put the usual silicon grease. That works perfectly on all my other guns. I'm wondering if it might be leaking past that barrel screw somehow. It comes up right between the 2 cheek pieces and hits me. So weird. I'm going to remove both cheek pieces and put paper over the top and see if I can identify where the blast is coming from.

Thanks for the input.
