Wildcat .22 pellet probe damaged

Dear friends,
A brand new wildcat .22 came to me for repair as there is no dealer in my country.

The magazine was not indexing and magazine had harsh scratches on it. I polished the indexing arm and things got a bit better but the issue did not resolve completely.

Finally I had to disassemble the gun completely for inspection. I found that pellet probe had play and front area had been a bit bent.

I attach pics.

Please advise solution.

regards,

Looks like the magazine was not indexing properly and the pellet probe got slammed into the magazine and bent the probe. Looks like you'll need a replacement probe. If it were mine, I'd contact FX and ask them to send me a new probe. I don't think I'd attempt to straighten the bent one. It would probably break if you tried to straighten it. According to FX, the magazine indexing mechanism has been upgraded and improved on the new Wildcat MkII. Maybe they might offer a kit to improve the older models. While I was on the phone with them, I would surely ask if that is possible and have them send an upgrade kit if it is available.

That will be great

"Keyman62421"yeah, if it won't go push harder. if that doesn't work BFH! That always works %)
(all in jest)
This is I believe what has been done. When it would have been stuck extra force would have been applied to push forward and this is the result.

I agree that the user did this mistake but the 1st thing is that new gun should not have the fault in it.
