Wild speculations for 2020 (have fun with it)

Now that the new years is upon us, it's time to have a laugh and make some wild predictions for the 2020 and beyond. Some are real, some are completely fake and some are just fun, So Here's mine;)

1 Lego guns will appear at two vendors allowing us to pick our next airgun by choosing a barrel caliber, length and pellet or slug specific. Then choose a receiver , stock style and type, a bag of 3 transfer ports in .5 mm steps, a bag of 3 trigger springs either a hunter asst or a bench rest asst. Finally you would choose air tube or bottle and regulator.

2. The previous $650~750 bullpup/carbine/carbine mini will finally get in all the airguns stock at multiple vendors and the price will drop to $500 in the "price wars".

3 The above will $500 price wars will cost most of us more than when they were $650, because the bargain hunter in all of us causes most to buy an additional two $500 guns as opposed to the one at $650....and another scope....and 3 more mags.

4.The Russians will finally find the maximum Americans will pay for a good bullpup.

5 JSAR will join the ranks of high end manufacturers and catch up with back orders.

6.The JSAR/ Xisico compressor arrival date will be pushed back to October.

7. Gamo will release a new 1700 FPS rated break-barrel with an all plastic barrel, (no metal liner) an increased 20 shot mag feed. (replacement barrels will still only be available to FFl licensed dealers) .

8. Crosman will respond to the new 1700 FPS Gamo by releasing their own Raven 2 with a 25 shot mag, also rated at 1700FPS. (Must be used with digital camera sight with a mini-cam on the tip of the barrel).

9. Umarex will produce a new "Deep Woods Hunter" variant of Gauntlet by increasing the barrel length to 900mm. The P17 will also be updated with a new trigger that adds 5 additional pieces to the trigger linkage.

10. Three new companies will come seemingly out of nowhere and become air-gunning legends.

The first, some may already know, AEA/Listone airguns. These guys have actually produced 3 models. There is hope others will show up in real life too.

The second will be Cometa, who will come from the back alleys of Spain to make break barrels that show Gamo "what could have been" if somebody cared about quality control.

The third will be Reximex who will truly make an impact in the $500 PCP market.

11. Umarex will finally sell us the Gauntlet Bullpup we have been waiting 3 years for..............................No, just kidding, You have to buy this one from AEA as well.

Daystate will release a Ted Nugent zebra patterned edition safari with a rotating barrel system in 22 ,25, and 30

But keep the proprietary tuning calculator. Why use a smartphone or laptop no one has either of those. Bluetooth connectivity in 2029

It will feature Morse code programming with a shiny spoon bahaha

FX will include a full reseal kit along with two additional magazines and a sling for their guns, just like Hatsan does.

Airgun manufacturers/vendors will now offer a 100 % complete satisfaction guarantee or your money back on any item in their store for the first 60 days. After 60 days you can still return the item, but only receive store credit.

Someone will make a true 30 caliber hollow point pellet that’ll fit in any magazine.

more left handed air rifles will be offered.

Air tank life spans will increase past the 15 year span

EBR will be won by a 25 cal Marauder.

Number 7 had be laughing pretty hard.

My predictions:

1. Crosman markets a break-barrel that can shoot a 1.9 gr pellet up to 2100 fps, "Faster than anything else in its class," of course.

2. GAMO becomes an official sponsor of the next Olympic Winter Biathlon.

3. Congress considers legislation on the "assault-style high-capacity" Sig MCX rifle for being a preferred "weapon of war."

4. The ONR dumps their contracts with SWFA and signs a 7-yr contract with CenterPoint.

5. UTG/Leapers settles a class-action lawsuit after buyer's claims that some of their scopes are not able to bust bugs.

6. Bugs win a class-action lawsuit against UTG/Leapers for advertising discriminatory claims that target bugs based on profiling of their species.

7. Hunting medium-sized game with a PCP becomes legal in 11 more states after legislators realize that animals are not overdosing on PCP's after evading police pursuit.

8. 12-gauge shotguns will fire more diabolo-shaped projectiles while airgunners seek the use of more slugs.

9. Elon Musk will announce a new "CyberPCP" that can shoot autonomously through walls of buildings using Tesla's existing self-driving technology, and also refill it's own tank via SpaceX with CO2 from Mars.

10. Amazon will launch a new rifle scope line branded under the AmazonBasics name with only one SKU, with a digital reticle representing mils, MOA, arc-seconds, cubits, and a wireless speaker to stream 3 months of free Amazon Music.

Happy New Year

That "finally" there would be a rifle like this - higher quality, accurate, high capacity, more powerful, semi auto, PCP, with a rifled barrel set up for lead BB's only!

I'm tired of steel BB's bouncing back, poor build quality and frequently breaking disposable BB guns, slow velocity, crappy triggers, on and on, aren't you??!!

Man I'd just like to plink til my arms were sore with something like this and pass it down to my kids!
