Why no taipan veteran reviews

Anyone have the Veteran long in .25? I shot it at Utah airguns and it is awesome! Best trigger I've ever pulled, and I own the mk2 in .30 and impact x in .30

It was shooting the mk2's at like 960 fps! Wonder how it handles slugs??

~~~~~~~~~~
I am very pleased with the performance of my Taipan Veteran Long .25 cal. shooting slugs. In fact, the Veteran .25 caliber with the Lothar Walther barrel performs better for me with the slugs than my FX Impact .25 caliber with the slug liner.
I use 34.7 gr Nielsen and 32.8 Varmint Knockers in both rifles.
Me too i shoot 48 grains slugs with mine, and it's a real hammer even at 200 yards, just need to up the speed but the accuracy are perfect, and last but not least no need to size bullets. the barrel strangely like 251 and 252 slugs better than 250
I'm not a Top Youtube Reviewer but this is the gun you see on all my YoutTube hunting videos, mine is a .25 cal and I'll be doing a review soon. Just didn't want to rush it and wanted my content creator skills to get better before doing one so I won't screw up this great gun
The gun is on my logo (The I on Orion) and also on the banner on my YouTube channel, this gun is so good I have a hard time looking at something else
Let me add some info on this post.
Please visit this site and go to the bottom of the page: http://taipan-airguns.com/
I know my Taipan was build in Ukraine, but the official site is listing them now done in the Czech Republic. Also before, RL airgun was the main distributor and from him the gun was delivered to Talon Tunes, Georgia Airguns and a few other guys that sell them, I know this because a friend was trying to buy a spare part for his Taipan and everyone was sending him to the RL Airgun guy.
Now... just recently I checked this http://taipan-airguns.com/en/dealers/ and saw that that US dealer is now listed as Utah Airguns, and to my surprise the Utah guys have the latest version. And that version has the CZ barrel now in the .25 cal and also it's offered with the new synthetic stock, not much marketing have been done on this but this is a reality now. And the guns are in stock (that's what they told me when I called, I see some are sold out but they are receiving the new version already) Yet I still see people buying form Talon Tunes the old model, this is confusing.
I'm really putting an eye on that Laminate .25 long.....
I'll try my best and do a review on mine soon! In the last video I posted, I show my gun at the very beginning...here
Also I just bough a 3D printer and I'm planning to do the Mag Holders, the one you can see on the video are from Bizill I don't know where I can get the file for the printing but I'll be into 3d printing custom stuff, I'll keep you guys updated on that, the printer is not at home yet, but I've already ordered it.
CZ makes the barrels for the 22 cal and Walter Lothar makes the barrels for the 25cal, which are as good as the CZs.
And they are made in Ukraine right? At least that's why my .25 says.
You find CZ barrels on the Cricket .25, why not on the new Taipan .25? Just saying the picture is there, made in Czech Repulic and the barrel has a CZ... now... are those going to be offered on this side of the ocean... I don't know... but I do agree on one thing, the LW is really good too, what really got me excited is the new stock, hopefully lighter and boy it looks good! I really don't care if the barrel is CZ or LW, mine is LW and I'm super happy, I'm just sharing what I've seen.
I'm not much of a gun reviewer but I just love to shoot airguns. I've owned a lot of nice guns over the years and my .22 Veteran long is by far my favorite airgun that I have owned. It is so easy to shoot accurately. Dont know why other than it is a quality piece , smooth as silk cocking, great barrel, great trigger , solid as a tank. I have an Fx400 and as much as I like it I just like the Veteran more.
I haven't really gave slugs a fair test yet as I'm happy with the way it shoots 18 JSB's.
My next favorite is my powertuned Cricket .25. It and my Veteran will do everything I need done. And do it very well.
The CZ on the new ones don't mean CZ barrel, there now made in Czech republic instead of Ukraine. But the .25s don't have a CZ barrel.
I however am waiting for them to bring in the .177 long versions
Just found a thread on that site and it looks they were offering the CZ but they stop, check the answer number 6 at the bottom of the page
Hahah that was me asking the question a while back :)
the CZ logo engraved on the action is for Ch Republic, the first 25 cal Crickets had the CZ barrels, the new ones come with the LW barrels now
I got the 25 long, very accurate rifle.
I've been trying to source one of these guys since June and with no luck. I wanted a 22 long in beech but they were not to be found. Most of the dealers were contacted and I was placed on a waiting list. A few bits of information I was able to extract from different dealers are as follows:
It appears the longs will only be in 25 from now on.
CZ could not provide an adequate supply of barrels so a supplier switch was made. The reason given was Taipan is too small and didn't have enough clout with CZ.
Hopefully with the switch to Utah Airguns, spare parts for these guys will follow.
