why no players use edgun in extreme benchrest

How do you know there weren't any competitors shooting an EdGun?
After all, the posted results show only the top scoring competitors in each event and class. There were many (like me) who didn't score high enough to be included in the final results. The bottom line is there is no way to know for certain whether someone was competing with an EdGun in this years EBR.

Well, I come from China, China is difficult to buy airgun(illegal).
We talking about which have better accuracy with edgun,cricket and fx bobcat.
I saw 2012-2015 results of EBR, so we think the fx's airgun is better than edgun and cricket. Is that true?

I own all three (3) of these brands and they are great airguns and all shooters in the right hands... FX just has an edge on innovative design.
Lets face it for the most part Bullpups are not Benchrest rifles you can use them and they can be very accurate but full sized rifles are just better suited.

Scott (T4F) about the results only showing the top scoring rifles. Last year all the rifles were listed but with twice as many entries admin becomes more complex.
I am sure I saw one Edgun, but Extreme BR should also stand for extreme visual overload.

It's not that the Edgun or Crickets for that matter, are inaccurate. They are just much harder to shoot consistently to be competitive at benchrest. This is due to their short length. Believe me, I've tried both. Bullpups are almost impossible to shoot with a front mechanical rest. They work a lot better with a big sandbag such as a Primos. If you pulled the receiver/barrel out of a bullpup and installed them in a regular rifle stock, then you might have something.

Maybe in the future, they could list the top twenty, as many people like myself are looking at these stats. Some are basing a purchase on the results of these stats. Not sure if it is the most useful but it can be a valid resource when you are purchasing a scope or rifle sight unseen!

I went back to the report of the scores and found that the guns of the 35 Extreme Benchrest match finalist were reported. Also reported were the guns in the Speed Shoot finals, 33, and the Field Target shoot, 21 rifles, were reported.
