Hadn't had the Veteran out of the cabinet in a week or so (Standard .22). Thought I should check its zero, in preparation to repel the marauding confederate squirrels. Took a seat on the bottom deck step, put up a target at 25 yards, and this was the first four shots (yeah, I chickened out on number 5, figured I'd pull it off the paper!) I didn't even dry fire it to take care of any potential reg creep. While I can't say the group is typical, especially without aid of a bench, the performance in general is absolutely typical of my experience with this rifle, extremely accurate, robust, POI never changes. And yes, it has the LW barrel that is subject to so much complaint.
