Not to add fuel to the fire but I live in New York. So much of what is being said here is so hard to understand. Im not sure what the op is using to post but I cant make heads or tails of it. I think he is trying to say that the pictured 10/22 is banned as an assult rifle. He is correct but only because of the magazine capacity. We are limited to 10 round mags for all new firearms. Old high capacity mags are only allowed to be legally loaded with 10 rounds. Full automatic firearms have been illegal in NY for a long time. Semi autos are still perfectly legal. Also please don't judge the entire state on what goes on in NYC and Albany. The rest of the state is so opposed to the SAFE act that there has been a real problem with our LEOs inforcing it. There is a real dont ask dont tell attitude. Of course you can't buy anything illegal and ammo has been hard to get at times but that doesnt change the fact that a lot of the State is not happy with what our government ram rodded thru. Just my 2 c

I think I can speak for many of us when I say we're having trouble understanding you. Trouble is a lot of people make inappropriate assumptions about people they can't talk to easily. That's on us. We are a friendly, fair, helpful and honest bunch of firearm enthusiasts . I dont speak for all, but I assume most are not sure what your story is? Your posts are almost completely unreadable. Is English your second language? Do you not speak English and are using some talk to text translator? Do you have some sort of disability? If any of those scenarios are your case, that's fine. But people are beginning to think your just a troll, starting alot of topics that are unreadable. Come clean and all will be fine.
