Pictures only appear when posters add them to the topic. Also, many times after an item is sold the poster will delete the image off of the hosting site.

Interesting… The question now is, why wouldn’t they!? Every classified forum I have ever been on has pictures posted. Anyhow.

    Thanks for the reply,

KMD it is up to the person making the post to add pictures for his item for sale, some members are not very computer savvy and do not know how to do it, others just don;t bother. It is always easier to sell something with pictures, those who don’t post pictures either count on the buyer asking them to e-mail them pictures or hope the prospective buyer knows them. I have been a member on other forums and quite often see posts without pictures, most of the time it is just lack of computer knowledge but there is nothing stopping any member from posting pictures on here, Neil.

    Willy, try this – http://www.airgunnation.com/topic/video-tutorials-how-to-make-the-forum-work-for-you-2/?view=all#post-5049
Then, look over the rules for the classifieds section and post your ad.

My ads always have pictures.  Everyone wants pictures so why not add some. Yes you need photobucket ( or such ) to host then cut & paste. Brad’s is a bit easier ( esp. for we old timers ) but you are restricted in size limit there.

A lot has changed since I started this thread… : ) Now you can obviously upload pictures directly… A feature I am still missing is Multi-Quote, but hey, you cannot have it all. Maybe one day they will ad that as well.

    Thanks,

How do you add a picture? When I click on "fast upload an image" and then click on the picture that I want to upload I get an error message. If there is a way I need to know how. At 81 maybe I have "part-timers" or just plain ????????.

    Thanks

    Vettnut,

Not sure why it doesn't work for you!? I uploaded a picture earlier in another thread and it worked just fine. I would go ahead and try different pictures. Not sure what this website suppors when it comes to file size and file type. There are jpg, jpeg, tiff, raw, gif, png and maybe some more types of picture formats. Try then all. If you don't have any, google them and download some. Try also different sizes.

You can also try a different browser such as internet explorer, chrome, firefox, opera, maxthon or Microsoft edge.

    Hope this helps.

    Kmd.

because i currently run into issues uploading pics. funny thing was i could do it easily 8-10 years ago with no problem. now my phone and computer have all this app BS. it turned me into an illiterate. and frankly i don't have the time and patience to bother trying to learn it. i always respond to PM's with my phone number and send pics that way. seems to work.
