Who’s shooting Daystate air riffles

I have some older ones that I enjoy shooting field target with and a couple of .22s for plinking, any one of them are capable of winning a match if I do my part. Hopefully this year if the stars align I will be able to get a new model.

I feel bad about posting, as it says Who's shooting Daystate rifles.

I recently acquired a Redwolf .22 Hp from a member here. Great gun. Everything is spot on and great.

The reason I feel bad is I've had the gun over a month and still haven't had a chance to actually shoot it or sight it in. Winter set in!!! It's either too cold or snowing, blowing or I have to work. Arrgh!!!!

It is suppose to be 60 degrees on Sunday. Up from the 12 degree high we had a week ago. I might just be in the shooting club soon. Fingers crossed.

Thanks steve123 lol, I don’t normally post but as a Daystate fan/collector/shooter I had to show the goods haha.

wildcj5, I try to rotate them in after I am done with the GP matches. I still have one more CR97 that needs some attention, the stock got broken in shipping so I am trying to decide if I want to fix it or save up the coin and get a Gary Cane for it.

Oh I bet you were sick when you opened that box! It looks it could be professionally repaired and refinished to look like new for a LOT less than the cost of a GC stock. But that’s just what I’d do because I love the DS guns from this era......only wish they made more lefties. Uj

I was truly gutted 😭 When I saw the small and skinny size of the box it was shipped in I knew it was probably broken before I even opened it. I’m not throwing the broken one away! I just don’t know which direction I will go first, to fix it or get a GC and deal with the broken one later. The good thing is if have GC make the stock for a CRX it would fit both the CRX and the CR97.

BTW since you are a lefty I know Robert at AOA has a NOS thumbhole stock just like my broken one hidden upstairs. I was going to buy it when he said he had one but when he dug it out and looked it was for a LH. I didn’t see what the grain looked like on it since it was still in the original packing but give them a call if interested.

Ron at CASA,

That's just wrong! Send my gun, ha I'll mail myself and live in the box just for those conditions.

Great looking group of Daystates there. A++.

I actually believe that I live on top of the iceberg that sank the Titanic. I have 3 inches of snow on the ground in my front yard. A mere 20 miles away the ground is dry.

Sunday or bust I'm shooting this Daystate.
