Who has, or has had an Ataman?

I had one. The FT version before Daystate licensed it as their TSAR. I found the build to be VERY good for the action but the stock on that model was weak in my opinion. Mags are expensive, support was poor (at least for what I was trying to address), neither the retailer or the builder were the least bit interested in helping me get a different stock even though both agreed the diff stock would be a direct fit) even with me offering to pay for it. In response to the few questions I've seen like yours, I've seen some complaints on the reg consistency. That wasn't an issue on mine but...

That was enough for me to step away from the brand but the gun shot just fine. I never had the higher power/cal versions but I would guess they are as good as what I had and better with the full stock. The builder just blowing me off was my end point. The retailer doesn't seem to active anymore. Can't speak to PA's support on these but they are the only retailer I know of now.

Thanks for your feedback, Jeff.

Appreciate it.

You can check them out at bwaltonpcp.net. He swears by them. Used to have lots of videos on his YouTube channel, "Airgun Hunter Extreme " & the accuracy of his gun was amazing. Don't know anything about their customer service but he's always been really good about answering questions for fellow airgunners & a wiz @ repairing/ modifying those. Hope that helps.

I would not take this advise . Just google his web store . Has been booted off just about every forum there is related to airguns and other hobbies .

I f you really want to see a bunch of Atamans, look at Pyramydair’s refurbished section.

That to me is a red flag, I would think PA does not sell that many to manifest the number they have in the Refurbished section.

Don’t see much posted about then on the forums compared to other brands, but the posters that have them like them.

Too heavy for my first choice.
