Who ships pellets the best?

Just received my pellets in today and as I carefully opened the box I stopped to notice that the first can I could see was popped open. After pulling the packaging out I noticed the other can was popped open. I slid them out and took a photo of the state they were in (pics included). I know the retailer has no control over the handling by these carriers, but they can control how it’s packaged. There was one layer of bubble wrap around the tins. With another coiled up in one side of the box.
Who do you guys think packages their pellets the best?

Pyramid is the best - Each tin is in the middle of a block of foam.
Trenieroutdoors - packs each tin in an individual small bubble wrap lined envelope and buries the envelops in a larger box of packing peanuts. Very well packed.

And then there's Amazon - multiple tins in a box with no packing material at all. Tins looked like they went through a war zone. And they used packing tape to tape each tin closed, so removing the packing tape rips the labels off.

+1 PyramydAir.com
That being said I live 2 hours from straight shooters air guns in belle vista AR I make the 4 hour round trip every few months to personally pick up my pellets . I am amazed at difference in the quality of pellets I personally pick up opposed to pellets shipped from a retailer .
I sort pellets and the last two tins I sorted, 1 tin had 15 bent skirts and the other had EIGHT! NOT A MISS TYPE! 8 bent skirts out of 500 pellets compared to a third of a tin shipped from a retailer . With out a dout most consistent pellets tin after tin I've ever shot .
I believe I would probably make a 8 hour round trip there is that much difference.
Not sure what happens to pellets in that final shipping process but it sure does a lot of damage to your pellets!
If making the drive is an option for anyone looking for consistency DO IT! YOU WILL BE AMAZED .

No, they weren’t used or from Amazon. They came from AoA. And that’s what surprised me. I’ve ordered pellets from there before but they were packaged with my gun in a larger box full of peanuts.
I’ve purchased some from Pyramid as well and they were packaged in the foam insert. But I really like the tags on the back of the ones from AoA becuse it shows the size. You can see it in the pics I posted. I’m not sure why Pyramids JSBs have a different label on the back.
Also AoAs are a better price. But I’m willing to pay a little more and get better quality.

Martinman, you are right on the tag on the bottom of the jsb tins. Interesting enough, I never realized until now all my jsb from PA have a round warning label and not telling the size. It must be a prevention for possible law sues. (Perhaps this is a sign that we are in really dangerous sports.....hmmm) Maybe that is why PA has to packege tins individually even for large quantities pellet orders and takes a while for packaging I guess.
Anyway, AOA should be able to explain about the loss of tapes for new tins and take care of your problems.
Good luck!

I can tell you who's the worst at shipping pellet tins. Amazon. I wouldn't even call it packaging. It's more like throwing the 4 tins I ordered into the box with not even newspaper to cushion it. Just the 4 tins loosely rolling in the box. I had 2 dented tins when I opened it up. I forgot who the seller was but never again. On the other hand, Straight Shooters and AOA did a pretty good job at packaging and shipping my pellets.
