Who remembers these?

I found these tucked away behind some other airgun stuff on my office bookshelf. Who else remembers (or better yet - has) these? I usually don't keep excess parts and accessories around that I don't use to clutter things up but these are so nice that I won't ever sell them. What is it about a nice chunk of CNC machined & anodized aluminum that makes me so happy? Sad that they went out of business years ago...I should have bought more.

Well, those are sure pretty, But don’t put www.pell can.com or you get a Chinese sex site. 🤣. Interesting new switch on domain name from pellet cans to pic site, but I guess you could see a different type of “cans”. ;)

LOL yeah, I did check the former website after posting this thread . . . and should've included the warning in the original post!

AOA has these-I was lucky enough to win one in a grab bag at the FT Shoot in Morro Bay last month.

WHAT??? You can still buy these today? Or do they just have a limited stock that they reserve for prizes, etc?

Hi Yen, Yes, I still have one. They are the finest pellet storage cans I have ever laid my hands on. I wish they were still around as I would be in the market for a couple more. They are extremely well made. I wonder what happened to that company?

I remember they were based out of Eugene, OR, which is only about an hour from where I grew up so that was my original reason for supporting them. The fact that they were such nice products was really a bonus. I remember the owner posting on the Yellow Forum that he was shutting down the business - I can't remember the exact reason but I'd imagine that he would've had to sell a lot of these to keep the lights on.

I'm pretty sure someone else could make these again if there was enough interest in them. Do you remember how much we paid for these back then?

The AoA version is very nice, my boys and I have a few too and really like them. Well made, waterproof and they look really nice. They are quite a bit smaller than the medium and large Pell Cans. I wish AoA made larger versions, they’d sell the heck out of those things.

Stoti

I found the AoA cans on their site and at $29.95, that's a pretty good deal. You're right in that they should offer the larger sizes too.

The former Pellcans included the various magnetic size badges which were nice. The only flaw in the original design was that the orings they used were so brittle they had to be replaced very shortly after you got the cans.
