Oh ya, what i remember in shop classes is tools not available, dull drill bits, waiting for your turn for tool, project was moved, stolen or messed with, torch and welder teacher only, learned nothing, on the positive side it encouraged me to own a life time of tools at home.

I hate to admit it, but I actually learned a few practical things from this video.

Wow, you have the colored version, back wgen I was having shop class it was black and white only!!! Does bring back some great memories though.....

I never had shop classes... went to a Catholic grade school that didn't have such things... no "Home Ec" either... physical fitness was basically recess after lunch where we got to run around and play "smear" with a ball made out of tin-foil.

Then went to public high school, that had all that stuff, but never took it (shop class) since I was destined for college... but I sure wish I would have... pretty much learned tools from my father, who was good with electrical and plumbing, but not much at all on car mechanics... I learned car mechanics from a good friend !

I enjoyed the video... also watched the 2nd one !

My eighth grade shop teacher was known as "Three Fingers Hollibaugh". It only took him once to remind us to remove the chuck key from the drill press.
