Who is a really good tuner?

"kmd1984"EDIT: Don't get me wrong. I get it. It is never as simple as saying, "Just polish this, and smooth out that." Some people look at a barrel and say, "It looks great to me!", whereas others might have a better eye for it and say, "This barrel looks like sh*t!"... At the end of the day that will be the difference between a good and a not so good tuner.

It is very much skill based. If you over polish a sear you will remove the hardened surface and destroy it. That takes Skill. If you force parts with orings in out or around the oring will get chewed up. It takes Skill to know when that's about to happen. Polishing a barrel enough but not so much it changes the dimensions too much. That takes Skill.

Are you good at your job, or do you have it because other people don't want to /can't do it?

Oh man, I think Earnest is trying to sell me a Vulcan 25, STOP! If the Mutant 25 does not come out in the next few months looks like Earnest will be getting my Vulcan in for a tune, I will just have to call the mutant 25 a myth, A gun that never came off the table.
I been reading all I can get on the 25 Vulcan and its starting to shine.
OOPS, I need another gun like I need a hole in the head ,
I will keep waiting on the Mutant 25, Or maybe not,
You guys seen the reports on the new Priest, That Pup is looking nice,
Got my new Michael Osyda stock mounted on my 25 Cricket, I already miss my magazine holders . Pulled a magazine out of my coat pocket and dropped it on the ground.
WTF , I try and go forward and go backwards , \

Thanks for the input. I am getting to understand more and more what a Tuner does.

I have always been good at any Job I ever had. Not because I am "special", but because I simply pick Jobs that I know I am good at, and/or love doing. : )
