Who has Mavericks in stock?

So as to not hijack another thread, I will answer this question here. I just received my Maverick 25 Sniper this week (I can't wait for the weekend so I can shoot it!). I ordered it at the end of February from Ken at SPAW. He said it would be about 30 days and it was about 30 days. If you go to his website, it says "call for availability". That's what you need to do. My guess for the reason the back order is so long from some of the larger suppliers is that each supplier gets a fixed monthly allotment from FX. The more popular sites (Utah Air, Pyramyd, etc.) get more orders so their allotment is grabbed up quicker. Call some of the smaller retailers like SPAW. I'll bet you will be able to get your Maverick, or Impact or whatever much quicker, you'll be supporting a small business and get great customer service in the process. My 2 cents.
 
I ordered a VP from Trenier in November 2020, I received an e-mail from Jeff confirming he had placed an order with FX on Nov 27th. To date, FX has yet to send Jeff any of the VP models. I'm willing to wait because it's not like I really need one, but I do want one! FX makes it hard to support the small business when they won't fill their orders!

I would Much rather give guys like Ken the business over the so called " big shops " .. He goes through every single gun he sells , not just pick n pull off the shelf , or open a box through some random BS card saying it was checked by joe blow..

It may take a day or 2 longer for Ken to get your gun out the door but i have Never had one gun i bought from have an issue ... 

Hell while i'm on the subject the last gun i bought from UA took over a week to ship out , and it was " quality " checked , but damn funny the fill probe was missing , hmmm , leaves a little doubt about the quality of the quality check.... Just sayin'

Anyway it has been my experience with Ken to call even if his site says zero in stock , he usually has it he is just behind on updating his site because he is actually quality checking his guns.. Lol

Damn, wish I would have know this earlier. I "pre" ordered one from Utah Airguns in Dec and expected in about 1 month later. After a month I called and was told it's typically a 3 months wait. After 3 months I called for another update and was told it will likely ship around June. I guess on the next call I will be told September. Seems like I got caught in a racket, they even hit my bank account on the day I ordered.

Call around and buy at who has it, you can always cancel the order at Utah air.

This is one of the reasons I deal with Jeff at Trenier Outdoors, he'll pre-order one for me, but doesn't charge me a cent until he has it and it's ready to ship! I ordered in November and am still waiting, but at least the money is sitting in my account earning interest, not someone else's!
