I will tell you what, I recently met up with a fellow airgunner I met on GTA forum who was having issues with his 22 cal M-Rod. We met so he could shoot my AT44. He brought along his Gamo CFX underlever springer. We were both able to consistently hit cans at 90 yards with it. I was pretty impressed with it's performance. I've had a couple of break barrels and decided they were not for me, so I moved to PCPs. I would get an underlever fixed barrel springer if I couldn't get a PCP.

I would suggest staying away from a bipod. In my experience, any time I rest any of my springers on anything solid (like what you do when you rest it on a bipod), it changes my POI, requiring re-zeroing. Once re-zeroed for the "solid rest," the POI changes when I shoot it off hand.

If you gun shoots "hot" (fast, high velocity), definitely try some heavier pellets. CP 10.5s are a good bet, if you can get a good tin of them (which I haven't for awhile). I agree that the JSB 10.34s are a good bet as well. Have you tried H&N Field Target Trophies yet? Lately they seem to be my "sure thing" pellet in all my guns (.177 & .22). Very consistent fit, and good groups are waiting for you in those tins.

I have used a Primo's Trigger Stick with some success (still working on my technique). I just set my hand in the cradle, then the rifle in my hand. Depending on your rifle and how hard it recoils, you may be able to set it in the cradle without your hand in between (mine came padded with soft, little rubber "fingers"). I think the Pimo's can still be had for around $80 on Amazon? If you don't need something that fancy, you could also just make a set of shooting sticks for very little money. There are plenty of YouTube vids that cover how to make them.

I recently outfitted two of these accessories
the mildot 3-9x35 scope and the bipod 5-10 and it's great from the bench I'm taking critters out two 70yards with crosmen premier hollow points 7.5 grain body shots and a few head shots, the poi drastically shifts from bipod to off hand so I just sight in for off hand if I'm in the woods, and leave it as is its dead on at 20 yards and a one dot hold at fifty a two dot hold at 70 haven't poked out further than that yet also my poi doesn't shift much with magnification the biggest difference is between 3 and 9 but out too fifty and 70 I use 6-9 anything closer gets 3-5 it's doing fairly good grouping at 70 I'll see if I can't put it on paper and post a picture
